David H. Stam

After nineteen years of service David H. Stam retired on October 31, 2011, from his Trusteeship of the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation and his role overseeing the Foundation’s Research Library Program. Since the death of Gladys Delmas in 1991, Stam has been responsible for the program’s special focus on the processing of important but often unknown and inaccessible archival collections in the United States and Europe. The Foundation has received awards from the New York Archivist’s Roundtable and from the Society of American Archivists for its support and advocacy for the archival profession. In November 2011, Stam was succeeded by his wife, Deirdre C. Stam..
